questions.

Do you charge for quotes?
No. Quotes are free and there is no obligation to go ahead.
How much does commercial painting cost?
Commercial jobs are priced per project after a free site visit, because access, trading hours and surface condition all vary. As a guide, Sydney commercial rates sit around $20 to $45 per m² for interior walls and ceilings, and $40 to $90 per m² for exterior facades. See our painting cost guide for more detail.
How quickly will you get back to me?
We reply within 1 business day. Sending a few photos with your enquiry helps us quote faster.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Next Coat is fully licensed (NSW licence 450329C) and holds $20 million public liability insurance for residential and commercial work.
How soon can children use the rooms again?
Usually the next day. Paint is dry to touch within an hour, and we use low-VOC paints, which have less odour, then ventilate each room before handing it back.
Which paint brands do you use?
As a Dulux Accredited Painter, we use premium Dulux and Taubmans paints. For childcare centres we recommend low-VOC paints, which have less odour and release fewer fumes, making them better suited to spaces used by young children.
Do your painters hold Working with Children Checks?
Yes. Our painters hold current NSW Working with Children Checks.
What happens if I am not happy with something?
We walk through the finished job with you and fix anything you point out before we hand over.
Do you work after hours or on weekends?
Yes. Most childcare painting is done after hours, on weekends or during closure periods, so children are never in the rooms we are working in.
